Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a type of facial that rejuvenates the skin by gentle exfoliation.
Microdermabrasion safely removes the upper layer (stratum corneum), revealing a smoother softer skin texture. Microdermabrasion is safe and effective for all skin complexions and all skin types.
Microdermabrasion is also recommended as a light exfoliate prior to microneedling or laser light therapy.
Equipment used for microdermabrasion:
- Microdermabrasion machine with diamond crystal tips of various sizes that polishes away dead skin cells
- A light vacuum suction that removes dead cells and debris
Microdermabrasion Benefits:
- Allows skin treatment serums and creams to be effectively absorbed
- Boost the effectiveness of medical-grade skin care products
- Polishes the skin
- Unclogs pores such as blackheads
- Increases blood circulation to the skin
- Promotes skin cell turnover
How often should you receive microdermabrasion treatments depends on your skin concerns and goals. We recommend 4-6 treatments every 2-3 weeks for the best results.
Microdermabrasion treatments performed on a routine basis will lead to:
